Domestic Violence, Abusive Relationships and Psychopathy seem to be in the headline news everyday without many of us realizing the long term impact on people and society. When it reaches the news, most times the event has already taken its toll among the people involved because of what has been happening behind closed doors for many years. The time has come for all of us to recognize the “signs” or “red flags” and speak out instead of ignoring or believing it is not your problem.
Learning, understanding and knowing what to do when you observe such acts is what this forum is all about. This forum is for the people who are personally involved with such events or know of others and want to know what to do. Come and share you story, hear other stories and learn how you have the personal power to end such events in your life.

- Feel uncomfortable, frighten or confused in your relationship
- Observe a different person in public than in the home
- Experience constant threats, anger or personal attacks
- Witness extreme emotional highs and lows
- Display habits of addiction to drugs, alcohol, gambling, sex, violent movies/games
- Control who you see, what you do, what you wear, what you buy
- Humiliate you in public, in front of family or friends
- Talk about own goals, dreams and life while ignoring or suppressing yours

- Warning signs to watch for
- Escape tips, survival strategies
